Great News!

Ken Snelling and his wife Jennifer have joined our team effort in the Summer Surge. Ken will be our Events coordinator and help in the build. Ken is the master of fun and hospitality so; everything just hit a new level! All the support received from this blog, both financial and prayerful, will be shared 50/50 with the Snellings during the Summer Surge. It costs a lot for airfare for 4, and being away for so long, it doesn’t make the at-home bills go away. We appreciate your support, especially your prayers.

Remember, Ken was the Chief Designer, a vocal TV personality, and a Build Lead for the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (EM: HE) McPhail family build.

Tara and Rush will leave tomorrow for Kona and Ken and Jennifer will follow next week.

The Summer Surge officially starts July 5th. We have 52 work days until September 15 to complete the work God has ordained. What’s that remind you of? Take a look at Nehemiah. It took 52 days for the Israelites to rebuild the wall. I wonder, what is God saying? I don’t believe in luck, and I don’t think it was by chance that the McPhail version of EM: HE was played last Saturday.

Please view this YouTube video that was made by the Lachnit family in Spokane just after we began communications with them about Joe being a manager for the build. Joe Lachnit and his family sat down Saturday, turned on the TV (unusual for them to do this), and landed on ABC’s EM: HE McPhail story… just being rerun for the first time. He is bringing his family to Kona with knowledge that God is moving.

I think this was the first time any EM: HE has been rerun since Joplin, MO last January. Why this timing? Why 52 days? These are serious questions to consider as you think about supporting this move of the Holy Spirit. I continue to say “think big or stay home”, because I believe this is what God has told me to communicate. Be “very strong and courageous” take the shield of faith to “step out on the water”, and then pray often.

Many blessings.

Aloha

KDOV interview: Kona Summer Surge

Please take time to look at this interview with theDove’s Steve Johnson to understand this amazing project in Kona Hawaii. I am partnering with University of Nations (YWAM) in an extreme build called Summer Surge. http://www.konasummersurge.com/.

I am praying that you will join us in this project in some way. Please spread the word by “Sharing” it on Facebook.

Ken Snelling has decided to Join our effort.  Half of all funds raised on this blog will go to the Snellings for their support.

Loren Cunningham, the founder of Youth With A Mission will be speaking at Trail Christian Fellowship about this this coming Monday (25th) at 7pm. You won’t want to miss this as he is an icon of missions since 1960. Click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loren_Cunningham

Thanks so much!

A New Prayer...

Abba Father… Provider

It’s with anticipation of amazing things that I come to you Father. I fully realize that the Summer Surge in Kona Hawaii has ginormous challenges that only you can manage. While I can’t claim that any of the projects I’ve managed in the last few years were done because of my extraordinary abilities, this assignment is so much more challenging.

Traveling workers, needing to arrange in advance around baton-passing scheduling rotations as well as timely shipping arrangements of so much material that all needs to be paid in full, will require your supernatural choreography

Father, only you can timely summon these men and women needed for our management team.

We need your Holy Spirit Father, to call, charge, instruct, source, and prepare much, in short order.

Abba you created the world in 6 days and rested. You parted the Red Sea and the Jordan River. You raise the dead! This is stress-free for you so I will rest in your provision; having faith in your faithfulness God is my only retreat.

I saw your perfect leadership and provision with Hearts with a Mission, the Cody Smith wounded warrior project, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and in Nigeria. Everything points to the Summer Surge as the next step.

Forgive me when the enormity of this project seems to stab me in my weakest moments and carry me through these times.

To accomplish your will in Kona is our goal Jesus. To see Christians in great numbers move as one and accomplish much will be magnificent. We accept the gift of readiness for the fall-term, whatever that looks like.

Let this initiative become a model that can be duplicated all over the world in missions. Help us to apply this model in Port Harcourt and Calabar, Nigeria.

Lord help a synergistic international Christian community speak with one voice all over the world; speak thru the power of your love.

In Jesus name.

Needing Prayer More Than Ever!

Rush has left in faith and still needs our prayers and financial support... please share this video and consider how you can partner with him as he works for the Lord in Nigeria!

Sincerely,
Lindsay McPhail:)
