Great News!

Ken Snelling and his wife Jennifer have joined our team effort in the Summer Surge. Ken will be our Events coordinator and help in the build. Ken is the master of fun and hospitality so; everything just hit a new level! All the support received from this blog, both financial and prayerful, will be shared 50/50 with the Snellings during the Summer Surge. It costs a lot for airfare for 4, and being away for so long, it doesn’t make the at-home bills go away. We appreciate your support, especially your prayers.

Remember, Ken was the Chief Designer, a vocal TV personality, and a Build Lead for the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (EM: HE) McPhail family build.

Tara and Rush will leave tomorrow for Kona and Ken and Jennifer will follow next week.

The Summer Surge officially starts July 5th. We have 52 work days until September 15 to complete the work God has ordained. What’s that remind you of? Take a look at Nehemiah. It took 52 days for the Israelites to rebuild the wall. I wonder, what is God saying? I don’t believe in luck, and I don’t think it was by chance that the McPhail version of EM: HE was played last Saturday.

Please view this YouTube video that was made by the Lachnit family in Spokane just after we began communications with them about Joe being a manager for the build. Joe Lachnit and his family sat down Saturday, turned on the TV (unusual for them to do this), and landed on ABC’s EM: HE McPhail story… just being rerun for the first time. He is bringing his family to Kona with knowledge that God is moving.

I think this was the first time any EM: HE has been rerun since Joplin, MO last January. Why this timing? Why 52 days? These are serious questions to consider as you think about supporting this move of the Holy Spirit. I continue to say “think big or stay home”, because I believe this is what God has told me to communicate. Be “very strong and courageous” take the shield of faith to “step out on the water”, and then pray often.

Many blessings.

Aloha
